What are the new trends in aesthetic medicine?

Recently, I have noticed that aesthetic medicine has started to move towards new technologies and materials that can not only rejuvenate the skin, but above all, can prevent changes that lead to aging. These methods are based on biostimulation and revitalization. It is known that around the age of 30, the first signs of reduced cell activity begin to appear, for example, a gradual loss of collagen. While we can activate cells to increase their activity by stimulation, repeated treatments - i.e. "maintenance" - are needed to ensure that the increased cell activity persists in the long term.

Why was aesthetic medicine your choice?

My aesthetic perception of the world has been shaped since I was a child. My relationship to art slowly began at piano lessons, I also attended choir, I liked to paint and took up modern gymnastics. In high school, I became interested in the art styles in architecture and subsequently, I reached a certification in interior design. This gave me an eye for detail and harmony. However, because I also enjoyed the natural sciences, especially biology and genetics, I chose to study at medical school.

After graduation, I joined the Dermatovenerology Clinic at the Bulovka Hospital and began to discover the diversity of the field of dermatovenerology. I was particularly fond of dermato-surgery. After passing the attestation exams, it was just a step towards combining aesthetics and dermatology. And what do I enjoy most about aesthetic medicine? When I manage to put a smile on a client's face, I share with her the joy and satisfaction of the result of my work.
