Are you left with pigment spots after the summer? We advise how to get rid of them

The new generation of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments improve the overall condition and appearance of the skin of clients of all ages. It effectively yet non-invasively rejuvenates the skin of the face, neck, décolletage or backs of the hands, gently with minimal restrictions. Lumecca's innovative treatment uses intense wavelengths of 500 to 600 nm. Compared to its predecessors, this delivers up to three times more IPL energy during the treatment. It's worth noting that just one to two treatments are enough to rejuvenate. Lumecca also offers a significantly more comfortable procedure thanks to the immediate cooling of the skin. Another positive aspect is the gentleness of the skin, which does not undergo significant redness or peeling after treatment, which is often associated with intensive laser treatments. Moreover, the rejuvenation effect persists for more than 12 months.

"The Lumecca device uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for non-invasive skin rejuvenation. We often present this treatment under the term photorejuvenation. I think it is one of the gold standard treatments in aesthetics. Firstly, because it is suitable for all ages and we are able to use it to address or reduce the full range of signs of ageing - from pigmentation, to redness, to promoting collagen production. However, the treatment can also be used as a preventative treatment. It combines well with other methods. The ideal time for the procedure is between October and April," MUDr. Katarína Třísková, corrective dermatologist.

Not only pigmentation, Lumecca also deals with acne

Lumecca treatments can kick-start collagen production in the subcutaneous tissue and suppress inflammatory skin conditions. Therefore, it is not only helpful in the treatment of pigmentation, but also in the treatment of rosacea or acne. It also achieves good results in the case of acne scars. In addition, the skin is more elastic, firmer and regenerated, pigment and age spots disappear. The result is youthful-looking, unified skin.

How the Lumecca treatment works

  2. Skin cleansing: Before the actual treatment begins, it is important to thoroughly cleanse the skin of any impurities.
