My main motivation for opting for eyelid surgery was health reasons. My eyes often hurt. They were red, tired and swollen. Everyone was nice from the start and there was a calm and friendly atmosphere.

The nervousness did not even arrive on the day of the operation. I trusted my doctor 100%. I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. I remember talking to the doctor in the operating room about traveling. We didn't even have time to discuss all of our trips and travel experiences before we were done.

A huge benefit for me, as a mom of three, was the outpatient nature of the procedure. No hospitalization was necessary and I was able to return home to my family right away. If I hadn't looked in the mirror, I wouldn't have believed I had just had surgery. The swelling and bruising disappeared very quickly and all that was left was the joy of the result. Those close to me praised the "new sparkle in my eye" and the absence of any visible scars. I am pleased to have my eyes as bright and wide open as they were in my twenties. The fatigue and pain have disappeared. I said to myself: "Girl, that was a good decision."
