For whom is the procedure not suitable?

  • For pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • For clients with hypersensitivity to cold or Raynaud's syndrome.
  • For clients with severe obesity.
  • For clients with circulatory disorders or inflammatory skin diseases.
  • For other serious illnesses of the body.

Always depends on consultation with the specialist who performs and indicates cryolipolysis.

How does cryolipolysis work?

The treatment uses a special device that reduces excessive subcutaneous fat by freezing it to a temperature of approximately -8°C. The device is applied to the selected part of the body and it sucks in the surface fatty tissue. The vacuum created in the suctioned area temporarily restricts blood flow and allows the fat layer to be frozen locally. The adipose tissue must be at least 10 mm thick. The treatment takes approximately 70 minutes. The procedure does not damage the surrounding tissues or blood vessels.

Recovery after the procedure

No special recovery is required after undergoing cryolipolysis. However, the treated area must not be exposed to UV light for 5 days before and 5 days after the treatment. Saunas and hot baths should be avoided the day after treatment, as the area is sensitive to higher temperatures. It is recommended to drink plenty of water, avoid intense physical activity for 24 hours, maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise to maintain optimal results.

Preparation for the treatment

The specialist will evaluate the presence of contraindications that would prevent the procedure from taking place. These include, for example, pregnancy, breastfeeding, hypersensitivity to cold, obesity and circulatory disorders, inflammation at the treatment site or other diseases of the body.

Course of treatment

The specialist places applicators on the area to be treated and they suck in the surface fatty tissue. The vacuum created momentarily restricts the blood flow and allows the fat in the area to freeze.
The treatment can take up to 70 minutes, but it depends on the size of the area to be treated.
The treatment is completely painless. You may feel a slight pressure and coldness in the area at the beginning of the treatment, but these feelings will subside very quickly.

Healing time

After the treatment, you can return to your normal activities immediately, just limit intense sports for 24 hours. Drink plenty of water.
One week after the procedure, the treated area will be slightly swollen. You may experience decreased sensitivity in the area. This will subside within a few hours or days and results will appear. The final effect will occur within two months, during which time the frozen fat will be gradually eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system.

Enjoying the result

The treatment is very effective, so you only need to undergo 1 treatment. For a more effective result , you can repeat the treatment up to 3 times on the same area, at the earliest 6 weeks after the previous treatment. You can have the treatment on the adjacent area on the same day, but the maximum is 2 areas at the same time.

You often wonder

We recommend skipping sports on the day of the treatment to give the body time to regenerate. However, it depends on the specific physical and psychological condition of each client. If you feel well in all respects, there is nothing to prevent you from being physically active the same day.

The device has two heads, so it can simultaneously suck and freeze fat from one single area (e.g. abdomen) or from a pair of areas (e.g. thighs or hips). A maximum of 2 consecutive treatments (2×70 minute treatments) can be performed in one day.

Cryolipolysis is more suitable for smaller amounts of fat, rather for body shaping. As far as the effect in the abdominal area is concerned, for example, it causes some clients a visibly significant fat loss after just one treatment. It always depends on the initial amount of fat tissue and partly on the client's lifestyle after the procedure.

You may find the treatment a little uncomfortable the first time the fat is sucked into the applicator of the device. However, it is not painful and you will only feel a slight pressure in the area to be treated. However, the next few minutes of the procedure (the treatment lasts a total of 70 minutes) you are lying comfortably on the bed and resting. The nurse will cover you with a blanket for comfort. You can fall asleep, read, talk on the phone... The first few minutes after removing the head of the device may seem slightly uncomfortable. The treated area is red and cold for a while. However, the nurse will massage the area thoroughly and the discomfort will quickly subside.

A healthier diet and limiting alcohol consumption will definitely help to achieve an even better result and slim down even more. Lymph will then more easily eliminate fat from the body. However, a healthy lifestyle should be seen as a recommendation, it is definitely not a regulation. The slimming effect should happen anyway.

The first minutes after removing the applicator, the area is slightly red and frosty. Immediately after removing the device head, the nurse massages the area gently (approximately 10 minutes). For the first week, the treated area may be slightly swollen. Some people may have small bruises in the area, but this does not happen often. After a week, the slight swelling will subside and gradually the first results of slimming will begin to appear.
