Procedure date and pre-operative examination
If you decide to undergo the procedure at the initial consultation, you and the surgeon will agree on the date of the surgery itself and the date of the comprehensive pre-operative examination, which takes place at our clinic.
Little visible scarring
The duration of the procedure is about 2-2.5 hours. The procedure is performed under general or local anaesthesia. Thin incisions are made at the earlobes and in the hair, the scars are almost invisible after healing.
Hospitalization
In case of general anaesthesia you will stay in our clinic for 1 day. After the procedure under local anaesthesia you will go home for treatment. If you live in the same city where our clinic is located, we will take you home free of charge. Otherwise, arrange for a loved one to transport you home.
Please observe a resting regime
We recommend a week of rest after surgery, and sports are possible after 3-4 weeks. You will wear a compression mask for 1-2 weeks. About 14 days after surgery, most of the bruising and swelling should have subsided and you can safely return to office work.
Treatments in dermatology
For the most complete result of the procedure, we also recommend treatment of the wrinkles in the center of the face. After the procedure, we most often perform the application of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid or various laser treatments.
Long-term effect
The youthful effect of a facelift lasts for many years, but it does not prevent further aging and wrinkle formation. Should the need arise, you can repeat the procedure again in the future.
