"Rhinoplasty"

I've been thinking about rhinoplasty since I was 20 years old. But I never found the courage to follow through. I didn't like to look at myself in the mirror and I didn't like to be on the outside looking in. I was unhappy with myself and I was always dealing with my appearance. But everything takes its time, and mine finally came - I finally decided to have the procedure.

During the initial consultation at the MEDICOM Clinic, Dr. Peter Ondrejka, MD, explained to me how the surgery would work, what part of my nose would be operated on and how I should take care of myself during the treatment. He gave me an answer to every question. If I had been afraid of the procedure up to that point, at that moment everything fell away from me. The doctor assured me that this procedure is not painful. I knew I was in good hands, and I began to look forward to the surgery.

Once I was committed to the procedure and knew it was going to happen, I was nervous that there would be a problem with the pre-op exam and I wouldn't be able to have it. I was also worried that my nose would not heal properly and I would have to have a possible re-operation.

But I reassured myself that my nose couldn't get any worse. I had a history of injuries and my nose looked like that. The most serious injury happened when I was 19. From then on, my nose was like a big staple.

There was really no pain immediately after the operation or afterwards. Just as the doctor said. I wondered if maybe I wouldn't have the same nose if I didn't have any pain. After all, a procedure like this has to hurt. But everything went smoothly and I was looking forward to the result.

I stayed overnight at the MEDICOM Clinic. I liked that the environment was clean, cozy and the staff was friendly. I was able to go home the next day because I had no complications. But I didn't even want to leave because of how nice it was.

I returned to the clinic ten days later to have the doctor remove my cast. This step was the most painful of the whole process. My nose was very sensitive and hurt to the touch. When I looked in the mirror, my nose looked blocky. However, the doctor explained that it would take some time to heal and that it would continue to change shape as it healed. He advised me on what kind of pressure massage to apply to my nose for better healing.

On the way out of the clinic, I looked in every glass window I passed. My profile was completely different than what I was used to. I loved my new nose and had to smile with joy. The scab was gone and the nose suddenly looked soft.

And what else changed after the procedure? I now have my profile photo taken, which was never an option before. I no longer wonder if someone is looking at me from the side. I like to look in the mirror and notice how my appearance has changed. I'm no longer afraid to meet new people, I don't wonder if they've noticed my nose. I'm comfortable with myself. I feel better and the procedure has definitely boosted my self-esteem.

Interestingly, some people around me didn't even realize I had surgery. However, those who noticed or knew about the procedure praised the result. They said the procedure had changed me for the better. They said I was different. If you too have a problem with your nose and are thinking about plastic surgery, definitely don't hesitate to make your wish come true. Because even a small procedure can change your life for the better.

The client underwent a complete rhinoplasty - plastic surgery of the nose. The nose was large with a noticeable bump. She underwent the procedure under general anesthesia, followed by a one-day hospitalization at the clinic. We then removed the tamponade from the client's nose and discharged her to home care. After ten days, we removed Lucia's plaster splint, and she was then able to start participating in her normal life. The client was surprised that the post-operative period was pain-free. As time passed, the swelling subsided and her condition stabilized. We are both satisfied with the result of the surgery.
