Laser liposuction is a modern and minimally invasive method of removing excess fat from problem areas. It uses advanced laser technology that effectively and gently removes fat cells while stimulating collagen production, which helps to firm the skin. The laser fiber used to remove the fat works very gently on your body, minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding tissues.

Put yourself in the hands of professionals
Laser liposuction is very popular in the US, where it has passed the most stringent FDA certification process, not only for liposuction and skin tightening, but also for fat cell transfer. It leaves them alive and ready for further use after suctioning. Modern liposuction technology is extremely gentle and guarantees great results.
Laser liposuction can also be performed on less common areas such as Venus' stump or male breast liposuction. In addition, laser liposuction can complement other plastic surgery procedures, such as abdominoplasty.
- A modern, gentle method
- Usually performed under local anaesthesia
- Effective suctioning of fat from different areas
- Fast recovery
- Minimal scarring
How does the procedure work?
Laser liposuction begins with a consultation, during which the doctor or liposuction consultant assesses the suitability of the procedure for the patient. Specific areas will be marked during the procedure. After the application of local anaesthetic, small incisions are made through which a thin laser fibre is inserted under the skin with a cannula. The laser light heats and breaks up the fat cells, which are then suctioned out with a fine cannula. The length of the procedure varies according to the size of the area to be treated, usually lasting 1 hour.
Recovery
Recovery from laser liposuction is generally faster and less painful than traditional liposuction. You can expect mild swelling, bruising, and discomfort immediately after the procedure. We recommend wearing compression garments for several weeks as recommended by your physician to minimize swelling and promote healing.
Who is the procedure suitable for?
Laser liposuction is ideal for anyone who is maintaining a stable weight and has excess fat in problem areas that does not respond to diet and exercise. It is suitable for those looking for an effective and gentle method of body contouring.
For whom is the procedure not suitable?
Laser liposuction is not suitable for pregnant women, people suffering from obesity or serious medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes. The procedure is not recommended for people who are taking blood thinners. In addition, the procedure is not recommended for people with insufficient skin elasticity and those who have active infections or skin problems in the treatment area.

You often wonder
Taking a blood thinner is unfortunately a contraindication to the procedure. This medication should not be taken as early as one week before the planned procedure. Thus, it is up to your hematologist to authorize discontinuation of this medication for at least 14 days (one week before and one week after the procedure) without putting you at risk.
